Barberry is reported to treat gastritis, nausea, diarrhea and yeast infections. Excellent herb for preventing gallstones, kidney stones and correcting liver funtions. Helps reduce inflammation and is useful in sinus, skin, bladder infections, ameobic hepatitis and rheumatiod arthritis. It is used in debilitating conditions marked by poor digestive function and a history of dietary or alcohol abuse, or excessive exposure to drugs, chemicals or industrial pollutants.
